Daniel Greene

Daniel Green is a corporate partner in the Silicon Valley office of global legal firm Gunderson Dettmer. He focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies and venture capital and growth equity funds that invest in those companies. Dan specializes in all areas of corporate, securities and partnership law, including the formation and financing of companies, public offerings, debt transactions, corporate governance and investor-side financings of all stages. Dan’s work with companies spans the entire corporate life-cycle, including strategic decisions and coaching prior to incorporation, general corporate representation and counseling, venture capital financings, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.

Dan has significant international venture capital experience, particularly in Latin America and Iberia and is fluent in Spanish. He represents technology companies and venture capitalists in Latin America and Iberia and also represents U.S. and international venture capitalists and companies in their investments and business opportunities in those regions.

Prior to joining the firm, Dan was a shareholder in the Palo Alto office of Greenberg Traurig. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his A.B. from Stanford University. Dan is admitted to practice in California, Massachusetts, and New York.
